Hey there! I'm Zoya, the maker and designer behind Zoychet, where yarn, imagination and an obsession with all things cute and anxiety-relieving come together.
My journey with crochet began in 2017 with curiosity towards fiber arts combined with a need to create, fueled by anxiety and a creative ambition ingrained in me for as long as I can remember.
I finally launched Zoychet in 2022 as a way to document my work, orders, and journey. Over time, crochet amigurumi, more commonly known as crochet dolls or figurines or plushies, became my defining niche, translating into my very first crochet pattern for the famous cartoon lizard crochet pattern!
When I'm not preparing for the next farmer's market stall, I'm hooked to a new (or old) work-in-progress for myself, or my friends and family, or a new client, pushing myself to create the next video-game character inspired amigurumi or an outfit that both intrigues yet scares me (hello, crochet clothes are hard!)
